Never again...

If you come to Laos (which I recommend because it's a wonderful country) there is one thing you might be interested to do : Elephant riding. Please, don't I've done that this morning, and you whatever you want, but I tell you something : You won't enjoy it. This is a mistake, we agreed with Jenny to say elephant riding was our worst experience in our whole trip. The reason is quite obvious, but as 2 Europeans assholes looking for "fun", it wasn't so much at first. Or maybe it did not bothered us to see this activity as an animal carrying people okay to pay a fortune to ride it, until we realized that the elephants (all of them) don't like this. And when they stop to complain, refusing to move anymore, the guide beat them up. Even if the place was great (Tat Sae waterfalls) but we didn't enjoy. We felt really bad for those poor animals. Please, don't be as stupid as me.
